I think I liked this song in 1988. Why do I think this? Because I inexplicably began singing it to myself just now while reading some student work. There's no good reason for this unless I have recently suffered a grand mal seizure.

The student work must be evocative.

Dumbass Aryans.
They be to singing what a brick be to aerodynamics.

Thank you for the amusing trip down memory lane, Tod! Men's hairstyles in ye olde 80s/early 90s were quite something, weren't they? Just how many hair products *were* men using back then on their hair, I wonder?
I enjoyed reading of your adventures at the inaugural, by the way! I've always felt that every American should attend at least one inaugural in his/her lifetime. It's quite impressive, isn't it? I went to Bill Clinton's first inaugural and had a blast. I was on the parade route and was about 15-20 feet away from the Clintons when they walked past en route to the White House. A lot has changed since then security wise, of course, so I'm guessing you can't get as close to the president as before. Anyway, I enjoyed hearing reading about that very much.
Hope this note finds you well!
