A Special Message For Time-Warner Cable Concerning My DVR Box And The Inexplicable Loss Of All Of My Saved Programming This Evening At 6pm

Dear Time-Warner,

Yeah, well fuck you, too.

Sincerely,

Tod

[Oh, and if anyone happens to know what happened all of last season and all of this season on My Name Is Earl, please, keep it to yourself. Same for all of the third season of Lost. And the last three episodes of Burn Notice. And the movie The Matador. And anything involving that family of midgets. Or last week's episode of Torchwood. And VH-1 Hip Hop honors. And the last two episodes of Dexter. And Busty Cops II. Thanks.]

I have a feeling I know how Busty Cops II ends.

Bitorrent is your friend.

This happened to me with two DVR boxes from Time-Warner. They said it was "a software problem" and there was nothing they could do about it. I love monopolies.

I feel your pain, although our DVR is from Comcast, who had our cable service when the first one went kablooie. My only advice is to copy as much off the DVR onto DVD or tape as you can. And get the third season of LOST on DVD or iTunes.

My advice is to return their DVR (perhaps slightly modified via a good kick or two) and buy a TiVo. That way, you won't have to pay TW jack in DVR rentals.

Busty Cops II ends with a talking Llama.

And don't even pretend like that's a spoiler.

has any one been satisfied
i have had ongoing problems with my cable ever since time warner convinced me to use their HD box. they (the technicians) cant
solve the problems. they dont know anything
but that "it must be a software problem"
its been 3 months
what can i do?
i call every day only to have to wait on the phone for 20 to 45 minutes
