Holy Toledo
It's times like these that I miss living in the Bay Area and listening to the late, great Bill King calling A's games ("Mitchell Paige is caught looking again at an 0-2 fastballl" still resonates in my head at night...) but since he can't be here, this should suffice: Holy Toledo, the A's won the West.

Was he announcing the 88 World Series when I took Eckersly deep?

Okay, when I look at the guy in the picture, I see Captain Nemo.
I'm just not sure how Captain Nemo felt about baseball. :~)

Congrats, Tod--I remember when you got your start, breakdancing in the parking lot at A's games, and Charlie Finley made you ballboy, and then you went on to...wait, that's Hammer...
