I finished Daniel Woodrell's latest novel, Winter's Bone, last week and though a review of it is running as part of feature I wrote on crime novels meant to quell the heat and desire to murder people during this, our summer of global warming, for Las Vegas CityLife, I thought I might give you all a preview of my thougths. Here goes:

Glad to hear it. I lucked out and stumbled upon every single Woodrell novel at a used bookstore in Boston a couple of weeks ago.

No Tod, it's not, and in fact should be used again, as in Bob Sassone is a LUCKY MOTHERFUCKER!
I join you and Sarah in proclaiming this an incredible novel. I thought DW would have a hard timing surpassing what he did with The Death of Sweet Mister, but he has with this one.
