My review of Jonathan Goldstein's novel Lenny Bruce Is Dead appears this weekend in the Sunday LA Times Book Review, which you can read here. You'll note that last year at about this time I complained mightily about the reviews and the reviewers in the LA Times Book Review, so, herewith, I'm going to begin complaining about the people who play QB for the Oakland Raiders and, by next year at this time, I should be wearing the Silver & Black and commanding the vertical offense like a frumpy Jewish Ken Stabler, redneck mullet and all.

I think the A's had a Jewish monopoly when they had Mike Epstien and Ken Holtzman in the early 70s

I'm sure the editors of the Book Review got their revenge by posting the sex manual ad on the facing page.
