My Code Name Is Jonah

Well, shit. I swore up and down that I wouldn't get sucked into this. That I'd watch from the sidelines while the rest of the world blogged away. I'd spend my mornings jogging, working out, reading Dostoesvsky, getting a handle on my Esperanto lessons, really getting down to the basics as to why I just can't get my wireless router to work, throwing out all my old cassette tapes, flossing, shaving the tuft of hair that growns on the base of my back, rectifying that my mother moved in down the street three years ago and, seemingly, ain't moving out, learning to love The Wire and 24 because everyone else seems to, maybe doing an odd bit of actual writing during the daylight hours vs. the hours between 9pm & 3am, thinking about who might have dropped the gate on Freddy's head on last week's Amazing Race (Bolo? Jonathan? Hayden?) and generally spending more time not reading blogs whilst killing time.

I don't know where this is all going. I don't know where it might end, which kinda makes it like a modern day Choose Your Own Adventure. In which case, from here on out, my code name is Jonah.

Jonah is better than Luca.

Blogs are read,
Lee's eyes are blue,
I relish the months
When I'm just 6 years older than you!

Happy Birthday dear Tod!
You still look really mod!
You don't look like your father,
Who is gone now, thank God!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

Present to follow, reasonably soon....

Love,
Karen

Happy Birthday Tod! No poem from your cousin, but best wishes just the same ;)I look forward to reading your blog.

Happy Birthday, Tod.

Giving you this blog for your birthday makes me feeling like a pusher introducing someone new to crack.

Enjoy!

Hey Tod -- Congratulations (I think)! Now there's yet another one of these damn things that I have to look at every day.

As the poet laureate, 50 cent said: It's your birthday. We're gonna party like it's your birthday. We're gonna sip Bacardi like it's your birthday. And you know, you don't give a f**k it's not your birthday.

Happy B-day baby!

It is like crack. Just one post....just one post!!!

Welcome aboard the lit sphere wagon, Tod. And remember, too many people are paying attention for you to stop.

Hey Tod,
Happy B-Day. Let me buy you dinner, oooooohhh maybe Friday before your talkin West LA????

Oh, this blog thing, just pure silliness. X-Box is more fun and you get more from it!

Oh, wow. It's your birthday? And I didn't blog that. Well, happy birthday.

Sucks getting old, don't it?

(I think I'm older than you, so I can say that. And if I'm wrong, consider that a question.)

Tod Baby,

Godspeed, lad. Damn the Mercury News, you were the only thing in there worth a shit. Now get out there and promote my books some more!

Scott

Tod,

Let the blog be a-blogging. Remember, no matter how bad your blog is (and it won't be) it still won't be the worst.

Victor (gischler)

Oh my god...I have now seen it all in the world of blogs. Welcome to the insanity....!!!!!!!

Come on Tod, get a blog. A little won't hurt. You can stop anytime you want to. All your friends are doing it...

Happy b-day.

-Bob

Welcome (says the pusher to the innocent lamb)!
